Clients & Workspaces

Manage multiple clients in one account — ideal for agencies and companies with multiple brands.

What Are Clients?

A client in ucited.ai represents a brand, company, or project whose AI visibility you are tracking. Each client has its own prompts, competitors, websites, and settings.

The multi-client model is particularly useful for:

  • Agencies — Manage AI visibility for multiple customers in one account
  • Multi-brand companies — Track different brands or business areas separately
  • International companies — Create separate clients for different markets or countries

Creating a New Client

To create a new client:

  1. Open the Client selector in the sidebar
  2. Click “Create new client”
  3. Enter a name and optionally websites for the new client
  4. Confirm the creation

After creation, you can select the client and configure prompts, competitors, and settings.

The number of clients is unlimited in all plans. However, the prompt limit applies across all clients combined.

Switching Between Clients

You can switch between your clients at any time:

  1. Open the Client selector in the sidebar
  2. Click on the desired client
  3. The dashboard automatically updates with the selected client’s data

Prompt Usage Across Clients

An important point for multi-client usage: the prompt limit of your plan applies to all clients combined:

  • If your plan allows 35 active prompts, all clients share this quota
  • Client A can use e.g. 20 prompts and Client B 15
  • You can see the total current usage on the Prompts page

Plan Ahead

Plan your prompt budget per client in advance. With many clients, it may make sense to upgrade to a higher plan with more prompts.

Client Settings

Each client has individual settings that you can edit on the Competitors page:

  • Display name — The name under which the client appears in the dashboard
  • Websites — The domains associated with the client
  • Competitors — Individual competitor configuration per client
  • Colors — Chart colors for the client and its competitors

Roles and Permissions

Within an account, there are different roles:

  • Owner — Full access to all settings, billing, and client management.
  • Admin — Can manage clients, prompts, and competitors. No access to billing.
  • User — Read access to the dashboard and data. Cannot modify settings.

Practical Tip for Agencies

Create a separate client for each customer. Use the “Apply to all clients” feature on the Competitors page when all customers are in the same industry and share the same competitors.
