Four models: ChatGPT (OpenAI), Google Gemini, Microsoft Copilot and Perplexity. Each one is queried daily through its real chat interface, not through an API. That matters more than it sounds: API outputs and chat UI outputs differ a lot around system prompts, web search and citations. In ucited.ai you see exactly what your customers see.

Every 24 hours. Our scheduler runs your full prompt set against all four models once a day, so there is fresh Share of Voice data in the dashboard every morning. Daily granularity is the right cadence for most brands. AI answers don't swing minute by minute, but they do shift across days and weeks.

Share of Voice (SOV) = your brand mentions divided by all brand mentions in your competitor group, times 100. Quick example: if AI models make 100 mentions across your prompts and 30 land on your brand, your SOV is 30 %. ucited.ai calculates this daily, per model, per prompt and as an overall aggregate.

Between 20 and 40 prompts is usually enough for statistically meaningful results. Good prompts mirror the real questions your audience asks AI. Examples: "What's the best CRM for small businesses?" or "Where can I buy sustainable running shoes?". More prompts give you a wider picture, but even 20 well-chosen ones will already surface actionable insights.

Yes. You decide which brands to track and benchmark against. Competitors can be added or removed at any time, and the system keeps monitoring every brand in your group continuously. Most teams start with 5 to 10 direct competitors and adjust once they see which brands the AI actually names in their prompts.

APIs return raw model completions. The chat interfaces add several layers on top: system prompts, web search, citation formatting, safety filters.
